Position: SECURITY - Standing Rock Housing Authority
ShiftWork Hours – 4:30 pm to 12:30 am
Opening Date: May 18, 2023

Rate: $15.00/hour+ benefits
Jobpurpose:
Theprimary responsibility of the Security is to assist the Safety and SecurityCoordinator in patrolling the Standing Rock Housing Authority (SRHA) BusinessOffice and all property owned by the Standing Rock Housing Authority.
Duties:
• Patrolall the SRHA housing projects, its main building and all property owned bySRHA, and maintain order within the SRHA. Provides support to the Resident Service and Maintenance Department.
• Respondsto telephone messages and instructions and/or housing tenant requests as awitness to a lease violation. Abilityto react quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
• Observesand/or takes photographs, surveillance and writes written reports regarding allviolations of the SRHA.
• Supportsa safe work environment by performing all duties in accordance with SRHApolicies and procedures.
• Attendall staff meetings and other related meetings required by the ExecutiveDirector.
DESIREDKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Musthave good verbal and written skills, have knowledge and ability to perform allphases of administrative functions.
Musthave the ability to plan and can keep records and make verbal and writtenreports. Observes during Resident Service inspections. This position mayrequire walking or standing exposed to the elements for extended periods.
Confidentialityis an absolute must for this position and is a cause for immediate terminationif not followed to the highest standard.
REQUIREMENTS& QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Musthave knowledge & experience in the Security field.
2. Knowledgeof Safety Operation Procedures.
3. Mustbe physically able to lift/carry, push, and pull objects weighing not more than50lbs.
4. Knowledgeof basic computer, applications, software, and operations
7. Musthave a valid Driver’s License and be insurable.
